The latest European Corrosion Congress (EUROCORR) took place in Stavanger, Norway, on September 7–11, 2025. With over 1000 participants, both from academia and industry, the event provided an excellent platform for networking and updates in various fields of corrosion-related research. The program consisted of 14 parallel sessions and two poster sessions, introducing the research carried out in more than 20 EFC Working parties.

In terms of networking, social events are as important as the scientific program. For this, several occasions were organized. To name a few, the fjord cruise on Lysefjorden, the conference dinner at Stavanger Concert Hall, and the morning running sessions from the Stavanger cathedral, offered memorable venues to catch up with old friends and make new ones.

After catching breath after EUROCORR in Stavanger, it is already time to set sail for the next one: EUROCORR 2026, 6 – 10 September 2026 in Dublin, Ireland. “Investing in our future: corrosion challenges for green technologies”.
